Before launching Mortgages by Nalin, Nalin spent 18 years at CIBC building deep expertise in banking, lending, and client relationships. Over nearly two decades, he gained first-hand knowledge of how major financial institutions evaluate mortgage applications — and where they fall short for everyday Canadians.
That experience drove him to go independent. Too many hardworking clients — the self-employed, newcomers to Canada, those with bruised credit — were being turned away by the big banks despite having the means to carry a mortgage. Nalin made it his mission to bridge that gap.
Today, Mortgages by Nalin specializes in alternative lending through B lenders and commercial mortgage financing. Whether it’s a first-time buyer who doesn’t fit the traditional mold or an investor seeking multi-million-dollar commercial funding, Nalin brings the same hands-on, solution-driven approach to every deal.
Early in his independent career, Nalin closed a record commercial deal — a milestone that cemented his reputation as a broker who delivers on complex transactions. He went on to earn his Commercial Mortgage Brokering Certificate, was named Rookie of the Year at Fides Mortgages, and became a member of the Premier Club at Fides Mortgages.
